Discovery
The process begins with understanding the project goals, target audience, and user needs. I collaborate with stakeholders/clients to align expectations and perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Step 2
Research & Strategy
Next, I dive into user research by conducting surveys, usability studies, and gathering data to understand user behaviors and pain points. This information helps me create personas, user journeys, and a strategic plan to guide the project.
Ideation & Wireframing
With a clear strategy in place, I brainstorm solutions and translate ideas into low-fidelity wireframes. This step focuses on defining user flows and functional layouts to ensure the design meets both user and business goals.
Prototyping & Validation
High-fidelity prototypes are created to visualize the final product, complete with interactivity. I test these prototypes with users, gather feedback, and iterate on the design to refine and improve the experience.
UI Design
The visual design takes shape by incorporating responsive and accessible elements. I ensure the interface is polished and aligned with the project’s branding, using tools like Figma (Mostly) or Adobe XD for detailed design work.
Launch / Development
At this stage, the finalized design is either handed off to developers with detailed specifications or implemented directly by me using Webflow or WordPress. This phase includes meticulous optimization for SEO, performance enhancements, and a seamless client handoff, complete with comprehensive documentation.
